Description of Dissemination Event:

The presentation took place during the closing remarks section of the webinar titled “Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Industry” organised by the Institute of Energy for South East Europe (IENE) on March 31st, 2021 and was followed by a question and answer session. The presentation was in Greek as the webinar was for Greek speaking persons only and was attended by 36 persons (mechanical engineers, energy consultants, architects, employes from the ministry for energy and climate change). The webinar had a duration of 36 hours over the period 1st – 31st of March and covered the topics of energy inspections in buildings, energy audits in industry and large organisations, good practices on energy efficiency applications)

In line with the key elements of the Innovation Union and the EU Higher Education Modernisation Agenda, the GrEnFIn Erasmus+/Knowledge Alliance project aims to provide the Energy Sector's stakeholders (energy providers, private companies, research institutes) the figure of the Sustainable Energy experts professional, i.e. European high skilled professionals capable to face the changing challenges in the field with an inclusive global logic. Its main expected results are the development of an innovative Joint Master Degree in the Green Energy and Finance targeting young students, but also a Professional Module to train companies' staff and experts already active in the labor market.
