BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

CETENMA (Technology Centre for Energy and Environment) is a private, non-profit Business Association, founded in 2000. Its headquarter is placed in the southeast of Spain (Pol. Industrial Cabezo Beaza, 6-13, 30353, Cartagena, Murcia). It was set up to support companies with technological research, development and innovation in all areas relating to Energy and the Environment, thereby assisting them in becoming more competitive. CETENMA R&D activities range over five main areas of Knowledge: Water Technologies, Waste treatment, Bioenergy, Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency. The aim of CETENMA is to generate and apply technological knowledge for the development and strengthening of companies.
CETENMA is registered as Technology Centre no. 116 by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation according with RD2093/2008 and at present CETENMA counts with 38 associated companies (60% SMEs) from environmental (water, waste, energy, biotechnology) sector which represent 2.700 jobs and 367 million € annual turnover. Several BBI full members are part of the Association.
CETENMA brings innovation services to more than 90 companies/year, helping them to become more competitive in a global market in which R&D&I and technological differentiation represent an impulse in being able to offer a more competitive service or product.
CETENMA helps companies to get funds for their R&D projects and provides them innovation and advanced technological services, lab tests, lab to market services, technology transfer, and specialised training, in the following fields of knowledge:
- Water & Waste: Design, Construction of pilot scale plants of water technologies (depuration, desalinization, reuse), validation of emerging technologies, pilot plant testing, technical assistance, basic engineering, bioenergy production and energy recovery from biomass (bio-oil, biodiesel, biogas, syngas), waste and subproducts treatment and management.
- Renewable Energy: Lab to Market, feasibility studies, technology transfer, demonstration projects.
- Energy Efficiency: Energy Optimization & Monitoring, Energy Audits, Energy Saving Verification.
- Biotechnology: Lab to Market, Equipment Commissioning, Demo Projects

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

CETENMA will contribute with the dissemination of GrEnFin project spreading information about the project in its information channels and social networks

In line with the key elements of the Innovation Union and the EU Higher Education Modernisation Agenda, the GrEnFIn Erasmus+/Knowledge Alliance project aims to provide the Energy Sector's stakeholders (energy providers, private companies, research institutes) the figure of the Sustainable Energy experts professional, i.e. European high skilled professionals capable to face the changing challenges in the field with an inclusive global logic. Its main expected results are the development of an innovative Joint Master Degree in the Green Energy and Finance targeting young students, but also a Professional Module to train companies' staff and experts already active in the labor market.
