BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

ISR-UC is a Portuguese private, non-profit research institution, associated with the University of Coimbra, founded in 1992 with the global purpose of setting up a first class multidisciplinary research team, able to carry out leading edge research in several important areas of science and technology, to improve the quality of life and for sustainable development. The intelligent Energy Systems Group has large experience in designing and carrying out capacity building and education activities and in the development of educational and training materials.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

- Identification of needs in the Energy sector;
- Comment the structures of the professional modules and university courses, which are being developed;
- Participate in seminars or even give classes on topics related to professional courses and modules;
- dissemination of project activities and results.

In line with the key elements of the Innovation Union and the EU Higher Education Modernisation Agenda, the GrEnFIn Erasmus+/Knowledge Alliance project aims to provide the Energy Sector's stakeholders (energy providers, private companies, research institutes) the figure of the Sustainable Energy experts professional, i.e. European high skilled professionals capable to face the changing challenges in the field with an inclusive global logic. Its main expected results are the development of an innovative Joint Master Degree in the Green Energy and Finance targeting young students, but also a Professional Module to train companies' staff and experts already active in the labor market.
